Having someone watch your home can be a nerve-racking experience and, of course, you will have questions. Exactly what is Home Watch and why do I need it while I’m away? What is Home Watch?

Home Watch is a professional service providing assurances that your home is protected through regular on-site inspections. Home watching services can be helpful for anyone who owns multiple homes or for people going away on short or long term vacations. These services can include maintenance, security, plumbing, electrical, pests, and mold, which can be present even during short periods of time. Inspectors will immediately notify the homeowner before the problem gets worse and will often ask how to proceed with the issue.

What is a Florida Home Watch Checklist?

This checklist is a list of things that are checked while a homeowner is away from their property. It is always performed on-site at the home and the frequency that a home watch professional checks on the property is usually weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly depending on the client. South Florida is very well known for mold within homes as it can spread quickly, so we incorporate this within our checklist based on how much damage it can do to a house. What types of payments do you accept?

We accept personal checks, cash, Venmo, and Zelle.


Can I pay you monthly instead of bi-weekly or weekly?

Yes, we offer bi-weekly, weekly, and monthly payments depending on each client’s needs.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract for service?

We have no long-term contacts. Your service is considered to be month-to-month, however, we ask for a minimum of two weeks for a cancellation of services. If the cancellation is not made within two weeks of the service then a cancellation fee of 50% of the services will be charged.

Why is it best to have On Point Home Watch Solutions watch my house?

When we enter your home we know how to look for potential problems that could arise. We are consistent and reliable professionals that take pride in treating your home as if it were our own. We will be keeping you up-to-date by sending you videos and/or photos. We have a team of contractors and handymen that are prepared to address the problem right away.

How many photos can/will you take of my home during each inspection?

We only take photos of your home as defined by you, the client.

Can you schedule our monthly home watch service to coincide with a delivery or service during any particular month?

Yes, we always try to accommodate our customer’s needs especially when it could mean a savings to them.
